David Adams Custom Homes is committed first and foremost to act as a Good Steward of your new home investment. Every decision we make is rooted in this philosophy. We are not perfect. We do however work very hard to do what is right. Even with the high level of documentation and accounting we offer our customers, the builder/owner relationship still requires some trust. In choosing your builder, you should consider Stewardship and Trust in addition to the more obvious levels of Quality, Design, etc. We want you to choose a builder you know you can trust and we hope that builder is David Adams Custom Homes.
Custom Building Plan
We act proactively during the design phase as we are involved with our cutomers and our designer during the entire design phase. Our Design Partner is an award winning Certified Building Designer known for designing stunning period homes on any budget.
We provide each potential Customer with a Proposal that includes a bid sheet, a sample contract, and most importantly a 7-15 page spec sheet that is customized to your plan and desired amenities. The Spec Sheet clearly covers every item going into the house. You know what you are getting. NO SURPRISES! We also include many amenities often left out by other builders such as a Sprinkler System, Sod and Landscaping.
We hold a Pre-Construction Meeting where we clarify expectations and spend time red-lining plans to reflect any changes. During this meeting, we also go over the entire spec sheet, the plot plan and other detail items such as placement of A/C Condensers and tree preservation.
Creative Interior Design
We offer as a standard feature, the service of our interior design Partner, Rozmary Byars, ASID. She meets with our customers at our design studio to assist in making all selections such as flooring, paint, countertops, fixtures, etc.
Peace of Mind
A Homeowner Manual is provided at the start of construction that answers many construction and warranty questions.
All of our foundations are engineered and inspected by the engineer before they are poured. Most of our homes are piered as well.
We use only the best materials from James Hardi trim products and low-e coated Vinyl windows to Trane HVAC systems and engineered sub floor systems; Your new home will be low maintenance and energy efficient (foam insulation). Our homes are all built according to the IRC and other applicable building codes.
